Microscopy Facility

In addition to the equipment available in various Neuroscience program-affiliated labs, members of the program also have access to UW’s Microscopy Core Facility. The facility currently has one Transmission Electron Microscope (Hitachi-7000), equipped with a 4K by 4k digital camera, one Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope (Leica TCS-SP2) and one epi-fluorescence microscope equipped with a low light sensitive digital camera. The facility added a Raman Microscope and one Tabletop Scanning Electron Microscope recently.
